The Bese Saka Fund is Ubuntu Leadership Academy's year-round fundraising program, named after the Adinkra symbol meaning affluence, power, abundance, and plenty. This symbol represents unity and togetherness, principles that ground our school community.
Throughout the year, the fund hosts giving initiatives and engagement opportunities, inviting businesses, community members, and families to contribute to our mission. Because we operate independently, your support is essential to ensuring our students and teachers have the resources they need.

An annual celebration of the diverse cuisines of Afro-Latino, Caribbean, African American, and African cultures. This signature event recognizes talented chefs, innovative food trucks, and visionary restaurateurs who are making significant contributions to the food industry by promoting and preserving the flavors of the diaspora.

Honoring Tradition, Building Community
Presented in partnership with Lasgidi Cares Charity, this free, family-friendly event honors the rich traditions of Kwanzaa while fostering community connection and cultural learning.
